When it comes to cleaning your liver BEETS are THE best vegetable you can possibly use. The liver plays vitally important roles in detoxifying the body, its basically the organ that decides whats good and whats not.

Beets are high in antioxidants and contain nutrients that have been shown to help eliminate toxins and fight and protect against certain cancers,heart disease and birth defects.

Betaine helps liver cells eliminate toxins along with pectin a fiber that clears the toxins that have been removed from the liver so they can go back into the body in addition one of its most important components beta lain, pigments with high anti-inflammatory properties that make the detoxification process so amazing!

This is a yummy recipe that you can use to clean your liver and fight inflammation! I am not a fan of juicers Ithink when you juice most of the goodness (fiber) of the fruit is lost, so I prefer to blend and then use either a cheesecloth or strainer to remove and chunks, but if you like a chunky juice go for it!

Serves 2

2 medium size raw beets washed and peeled 

1 carrot washed and peeled

1 knob of ginger peeled

Juice of 1 lemon

1 apple

1 large cucumber unpeeled 

1 cup coconut water

*Try your best to use organic produce.

Wash produce and peel if needed  add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend away.

Strain and enjoy!
